University town + Beer. Genius! What’s not to love!? This is everything you need for a bar in downtown Davis. University of Beer (aka UoB) is a Davis staple. If you are a beer enthusiast, you can’t go your whole time in Davis without going to UoB. You technically can do whatever you want, but again, if you like beer – check out this bar. It’s not just beer though! They have a fully stocked liquor bar and also make cocktails if you don’t want a beer!
There is an incredible selection of rotating drafts from breweries all over. Plenty of options for everyone! If you are going for the first time, you should try to get a spot inside at the bar. Sitting at the bar gets you closer access to your next drink and the bar also has an ice top. Put your drink on this frosted section of the bar to keep your drink cold from the bottom up. It’s very nice.

- Location: Probably one of the best bar locations in town. When the weather is nice, the patio and the new parklet (sidewalk extension) are prime for hanging out.
- Food Tips: Grab a bite from one of your favorite restaurants around town and bring it over to enjoy with a nice cold beer! They don’t have any rules prohibiting outside foods!
- Trivia Night: Every Wednesday, the bar hosts a solid trivia night. It’s not too difficult but still engaging. Prizes are fun to play for too!
- Karaoke Night: If you want something more high-energy than trivia, karaoke night on Saturdays are for you! Grab your friends, get some shot-skis, and get after it!
