This iconic destination is the largest mead and honey tasting room in California! Davis is approximately 12 miles from this gem and it couldn’t be more amazingly convenient.
Learn about and enjoy some of the most incredible honey that is produced in the country. Each different jar of honey is produced from bees with various diets that result in different flavors of honey. It’s absolutely fascinating.
With plenty of activities for people of all ages, this might be one of our favorite hidden gems in the area.

- Location: Approximately 12 miles and 18 minutes from Davis, this is absolutely worth the quick drive. If you’re coming from out of town, there are plenty of places to stay in the area.
- Not just honey: They have an incredible chef and an entire kitchen where they are making fresh and delicious food. Enjoy a honey tasting and then get some food
- Mead: If you’re looking to check all of the boxes, complete your experience with alcoholic honey wine. It’s as good as it sounds.
